As peacemakers, we join the Holy Spirit in His work of making whole that which is now divided and in conflict. The world in its current state loves its friends but hates its enemies. The task of the peacemaker is to transform this hate for enemies into love. To do this, the peacemaker is given a tool which also happens to be at the core of Christ’s message to humanity.
