Now that we have redefined forgiveness, the new definition seems hard to grasp. This difficulty arises because a change of mind (i.e.repentance) is required in order to practice forgiveness as redefined. To compound the difficulty, we seem reluctant to undergo such change. Why? What is the nature of this change? What makes the need for such change so difficult for us to accept?
In this episode, we learn that everyone is both able and called upon to practice forgiveness in their closest relationships. In addition, we examine the trial and unjust conviction of Jesus to a death sentence on the cross to teach us about the true nature of reality and to motivate us to practice forgiveness as he did.
