In this episode I speak to the person who provided me with my first student counsellor role at a hospice. Claire Tune is a grief and loss specialist and shares with us the importance of being able to talk about death and dying. We talk about demystifying the process of death, how grief can be internalised and how trauma relating to this can impact people in their life. We talk deeply about how children can be supported to process grief rather than being kept away from the process and what techniques can be used with them. This episode shows us how we can truly honour the process of death and dying for both ourselves and others.
