AEW Fight Forever is an upcoming wrestling video game developed by Yuke's and published by THQ Nordic. The game will be the debut title on consoles and PC from All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It is scheduled to be released in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Recently the full achievement list leaked on Xbox and now the game is also able to be pre-downloaded. Could a shadow drop of the game be imminent? AEW Fight Forever is expected to feature a large roster of AEW wrestlers, as well as a variety of match types and gameplay modes. AEW Fight Forever is also expected to feature a robust career mode, allowing players to create their own wrestler and rise through the ranks of AEW. These ads being displayed inside of Mortal Kombat 11, a premium game with a premium price tag, have received a lot of negative feedback from players. But are they really that bad? Two new mainline Pokémon games have been released in the form of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. While many are enjoying Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the game is marred with glitches and performance issues that are unacceptable. Not only are glitches and performance issues widespread in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the game also looks terrible graphically. The release of The Callisto Protocol has been cancelled in Japan. According to an announcement made via The Callisto Protocol Japanese Twitter account, the The Callisto Protocol was unable to secure an age rating from the Japanese Computer Entertainment Rating Organisation (CERO). Apparently CERO didn't agree with some content featured in The Callisto Protocol, with developer Striking Distance refusing to alter its vision.

The next Assassin’s Creed game has leaked and is being titled Assassin’s Creed Mirage. According to YouTuber j0nathan, and details corroborated by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, the next Assassin's Creed game will release next year and be called Assassin's Creed Mirage. Bloomberg previously reported that Ubisoft was planning to release a stealth Assassin’s Creed game and do away with RPG elements. The new Assassin's Creed game is going to star Basim, from Valhalla, and be set in the Middle East.

The Saints Row series founded itself on being a "less serious" GTA competitor. It's been a long time since the Saints Row series has seen a new entry and when a new Saints Row was announced, fans were excited. Volition, the developer of Saints Row, received backlash for some trailers that fan felt didn't fit the normal Saints Row vibe. Previews suggested that a series reboot of Saints Row may actually be shaping up nicely. Unfortunately, now that the game is in the wild - it is being reviewed poorly. Critics and fans point to issues with the performance as well as the core gameplay itself. But is Saints Row beyond saving from the onslaught of negative reviews?

Sony may be developing its own PC games launcher and integrating the PSN backend on PC for use with PlayStation PC re-releases. According to VGC, the files for the PC version of Spider-Man Remastered include language around a PlayStation PC launcher. This shows that an independent PC launcher is an idea being tinkered with by Sony and PlayStation. Further references include "PSNAccountLinked" and "PSNLinkingEntitlements" despite Sony not offering any connectivity between users' PlayStation Network accounts and their PlayStation Studios PC games so far. Could this mean larger PSN integration and even trophy support for PlayStation's PC releases? What about PlayStation's long term goals with their PC division?

The Snitch, a reliable leaker over the last few months, has teased the return of Alone in the Dark. The tweet, "Being afraid of the dark is what keeps most of us alive," is directly lifted from 2005's Alone in the Dark movie. Fans are taking this to mean a return of the Alone in the Dark game series is on the way. THQ Nordic holds the rights to the Alone in the Dark horror franchise and the publisher has a showcase in just a few days, on 12th August. Is the Alone in the Dark series set to make a comeback?

Sources with knowledge of the plans surrounding Dead Island 2 have said that the game is likely to be re-revealed later this year. Although an exact reveal date of Dead Island 2 was not provided, the same source had said that the reveal at The Game Awards later this year would “make a lot of sense”. It’s understood that Dead Island 2 will have a big focus on cooperative play. In addition, it’s also been suggested that the cast of Dead Island 2 is completely new with 5-6 new characters coming to the game.

Sources have suggested that Skate 4, or simply Skate, will be revealed next month! So, could EA (Electronic Arts) be set to reveal Skate 4 in July? According to Tom Henderson's sources, Skate 4 will be officially revealed by EA in July 2022. It’s understood that Skate 4 has been undergoing extensive playtesting with EA being far along in development. Leaked footage of Skate 4 in April of this year showed a very early look. So could a Skate 4 reveal be around the corner?

Tom reported exclusively that Hideo Kojima was working on new a new horror game named Overdose. Moreso, Hideo Kojima's game Overdose could have been in development for Google’s Stadia and pegged as episodic horror. Hideo Kojima even mentioned in 2020 that he was upset of a project of his got canceled - could that have been overdose for Google Stadia? God of War: Ragnarök has received a rating in South Korea, suggesting the game is on track for its 2022 release date. Industry insider Nibel is speculating a September or October 2022 release for God of War Ragnarök. As spotted by ResetEra user modiz, God of War Ragnarok was rated as an "18 and over" game by South Korea's Game Rating and Administration Committee, and a game being rated usually signifies that a relatively complete version has been presented, and therefore isn't too far from being released.

The New PlayStation Plus games lineup has been revealed and includes: Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and MUCH MORE! PlayStation has announced several games coming to its new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers. Confirmed today in a blog post, there are now 56 PS4 and PS5 titles confirmed for the $99.99 a year Extra and $119.99 Premium tiers.
