When you have an abundance mindset, you believe that there are plenty of people to serve, more than enough money to earn, and it’s possible to build a life and business that’s meaningful.

An Abundant Thinker believes that it is possible to grow beyond who they currently are. They believe that it’s possible to become more, do more, have more.

A Scarcity Thinker thinks everything is fixed. They think in terms of “Well, I’m not one of the elite. Or “I just do the best with the cards that I’ve been dealt.” Or “It’s not possible for me to learn or do something new.”

Use this exercise to determine your mindset and become an abundant thinker.

Abundant Thinking Exercise

For this exercise I’d like for you to do the following:

  1. Settle yourself in a distraction-free zone.
  2. Take out a sheet of paper and write at the top “My Beliefs About My Business”
  3. Draw a line down the middle.
  4. In the left column, write the title, “Limiting Beliefs”.
  5. In the right column, write the title, “Realistic Truths”.
  6. Choose to believe the truths.

Limiting Beliefs are not true. They are lies we grow to believe as if they were true. And we have to train ourselves to believe what the Realistic Truths are.

So take some time to write down 3 to 5 and if you want to do more you can, but start with 3-5 Limiting Beliefs you may have about your business or about your business skills.
