Formula 1's V6's are back in action after a long summer break: we will have big changes this weekend starting from the new ERS systems which will have to be homologated before the 1st of September; furthermore the Technical Directive 039, regarding bouncing and flexing floors, will come into play. Mercedes expect to be back into full contention for the win at Spa-Francorchamps, and a few penalties in front of them may help them in the pursuit of their first success in 2022. The Alpine-McLaren battle got very heated off-track during the summer break but now the track and the cars will do the talking: will they be at the front of the midfield or will other teams catch up?
