In the first episode speaker and author Byron Ricks and his Co-Host Josh Warmbrodt introduce three of the nine side effects of growing fatherless or without the interaction and influence of a father. These were thee of the side effects that Byron uncovered in his research for the book "Searching For Dad."  Girls that grow up without a mother and have no connection to the mother suffer the same side effects as boys who grow up without father and have no connection to their father. 
The side effects covered in this episode are: Identity Crisis, A Need To Belong and Silent Anger.
