Holler Hive Open Mic Community 😊, it's week 114 and I'm super excited about the theme "More Than Words" because it's a theme I personally can relate with. In line with this week's theme, I'd be performing "How will I know" originally by "Whitney Houston" but I'd be covering the version of English singer and songwriter "Sam Smith" . I decided to go away from the norm this week, which is performing without my guitar and getting the help of my very good friend @paulzeks on piano. Y'all go check him out, he's new on the hive blockchain and really awesome on keys. I had to do this so i could emote more and be expressive while singing.
The song talks about uncertainty in a love relationship. “How Will I Know” describes someone who gets love feelings for another person but wonders if that person also truly loves or will love them back. This person is however afraid of making his feelings known to a potential lover due to fears that he may not be loved back. This person in other words is looking for an answer on whether or not his potential lover feels the same about them. Uncertainty in a relationship goes beyond words, it's saddening and really unhealthy for a relationship because you don't know where you stand in someone's heart. If the person really loves you, because you really love that person wholeheartedly and would do anything for them,but not so sure about them thereby leading to insecurities.
