Hello, everyone, and welcome to another exciting episode of Chip Talks podcast! Today, we’re diving deep into the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and exploring how nutrition significantly affects this intricate system.

The endocannabinoid system is a complex cell-signaling system identified in the early 1990s. It plays a crucial role in regulating a range of functions and processes, including sleep, mood, appetite, memory, and reproduction. What’s fascinating is how this system can be influenced by the nutrients we consume daily.

Chronic Inflammation and ECS
Chronic inflammation is a common issue many of us face. The foods we eat can either fuel this inflammation or help reduce it. The key players here are omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Our bodies require a balance of these essential fats, but the typical Western diet is heavily skewed towards omega-6s, which promotes inflammation.

Nutrition's Role in ECS Regulation
Omega-3 fatty acids, found in foods like chia seeds, walnuts, and flaxseed oil, are crucial for producing endocannabinoids that help regulate inflammation and other bodily functions. On the other hand, an excess of omega-6 fatty acids, commonly found in processed foods and certain meats, can lead to an overactive inflammatory response.

Foods to Focus On
To support a healthy ECS, incorporate more anti-inflammatory foods into your diet. Olive oil, avocados, oily fish, and nuts are excellent choices. These foods contain beneficial fats that help produce endocannabinoids promoting balance and well-being.

The Gut Biome and ECS
Interestingly, the gut biome also plays a role in ECS regulation. A healthy gut biome can enhance the production and function of endocannabinoids, further underscoring the importance of a balanced diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Take Control of Your Health
By understanding how nutrition impacts the endocannabinoid system, you can make informed choices that promote better health. It’s about taking control and not leaving everything up to the healthcare system. Small changes in your diet can lead to significant improvements in how you feel and function.

Stay tuned for more insights in our next episode of Chip Talks. Take control of your health journey, one meal at a time!

The Endocannabinoid System: How it Works and Why it Matters

In a recent video, health expert Chip dives deeper into the science behind the endocannabinoid system - a critical system in the human body that regulates everything from appetite to mood to inflammation. While many associate this system with marijuana, Chip explains that the endocannabinoid system evolved long before cannabis and is found in all vertebrates, including our pets.

On a cellular level, the endocannabinoid system consists of endocannabinoids produced within our bodies as well as cannabinoid receptors on cell surfaces. Endocannabinoids like anandamide are synthesized from dietary fats that we consume - omega-3s, omega-6s, and omega-9s. That's why nutrition is key for a properly-functioning endocannabinoid system.

The two main cannabinoid receptors are CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors handle functions of the brain, central nervous system, organs, and glands, while CB2 receptors regulate immune function and inflammation. When we consume phytocannabinoids from plants, they can bind with these receptors to influence physiological processes.

Chip notes that while our bodies produce endocannabinoids internally, we can supplement them with cannabinoids from plants like cannabis. The synergy between plant compounds and our native endocannabinoid system is still being uncovered, but it holds great promise from a health perspective. Fine-tuning endocannabinoid tone could alleviate conditions from anxiety and depression to arthritis and seizures.

Understanding this critical network of chemical messengers could be the key to unlocking better health. Chip's video provides crucial background on how to support endocannabinoid function through lifestyle strategies like diet, exercise, stress relief, and phytocannabinoid supplementation where appropriate.

I'm excited to share a new video breaking down the basics of the endocannabinoid system. This system plays a critical role in regulating many processes in our bodies to maintain homeostasis and health. However, it remains relatively unknown, even in the medical community.

In this video, I explain how the endocannabinoid system works similarly to a vehicle's computer - constantly monitoring different systems and making adjustments as needed. It helps balance your immune system, energy levels, emotions, and more by using cannabinoid receptors throughout the body. I describe the two main receptors: CB1, which exists on most cells, and CB2, primarily found in immune tissues. The endocannabinoids anandamide and 2-AG naturally activate these receptors.

I discuss how phytocannabinoids from cannabis, like THC and CBD, also influence the endocannabinoid system. Amazingly, this system evolved very early in animal development and remains conserved across species, underscoring its importance. When functioning optimally, it prevents many modern diseases that simply don't exist in nature.

The video explores natural ways we can support our endocannabinoid system, like certain dietary fats and herbs containing compounds like beta-caryophyllene. I also cover products from my company TruMedics designed to target this master regulatory system. Monitoring your endocannabinoid tone can reveal a lot about overall wellness.

I made this video understandable for all audiences while packing it with science. Please check out the full breakdown of this critical, yet often ignored system in the latest chip talks video below! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Today we're delving into the fascinating topic of the mucosal barrier and its critical role in maintaining overall health. Recently, I watched an insightful video by Chip Paul, which highlights the significance of the mucosal barrier's electrical resistance and how it impacts our health. This post will explore the key points from Chip's video and the broader implications for our well-being.

Understanding the Mucosal Barrier
The mucosal barriers are vital protective linings found in our gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, genitourinary tract, and ocular surfaces. They serve as the first line of defense against pathogens and toxins, playing a crucial role in our immune system.

Electrical Resistance and Permeability
According to Chip Paul, the permeability of these mucosal barriers is regulated by their electrical resistance, controlled by the movement of ions. When the resistance is low, the barriers become more porous, allowing substances to cross them easily. Conversely, higher resistance makes the barriers less permeable. Our bodies strategically control this resistance for several reasons:

  • Protection Against Pathogens: Higher resistance helps prevent harmful microorganisms from entering the body.
  • Regulating Nutrient Absorption: Changes in resistance affect nutrient uptake, impacting our nutritional health.
  • Preventing Unwanted Inflammation: Proper resistance levels help avoid unnecessary inflammation and immune responses.
  • Maintaining Tissue Homeostasis: Ensuring optimal barrier function is key to tissue health and stability.

Potential for Bioelectrical Manipulation
One of the most intriguing aspects of Chip's discussion is the potential to manipulate and optimize this barrier function using frequencies of light, electricity, and radio waves. This bioelectrical approach could revolutionize how we address various health conditions.

Implications for Chronic Health Conditions
Chip hypothesizes that many modern chronic health issues, such as inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, and increased susceptibility to illnesses, may stem from the improper functioning of the mucosal barrier system. Potential root causes include diet, exposure to toxins, and skin pH changes due to products like soaps.

Research and Health Optimization
Understanding the bioelectrical system governing our mucosal barriers could lead to groundbreaking solutions for optimizing health and combating disease. As research in this field advances, we may discover new ways to enhance our health through targeted bioelectrical interventions.

Health with Truemedx and Neighborly Services

When Jennifer was 32, she was a busy mother, juggling child-rearing with everyday life, unaware that her health was gradually deteriorating. Despite her active lifestyle, including intense bootcamp workouts, she inexplicably continued to gain weight. Her concerns were dismissed by doctors who blamed her weight gain for her health issues. However, her situation reached a critical point when, at 38, she weighed nearly 300 pounds and was rushed to the ER with cardiac arrest and severe lung problems.

Over the next seven years, Jennifer's health continued to decline as she developed seven autoimmune diseases and was prescribed a range of medications. Unfortunately, these drugs caused significant damage to her liver, leading to non-alcoholic cirrhosis. Facing the recommendation to undergo liver surgery, Jennifer chose to explore natural healing paths instead.

Her health struggles persisted, leading to a failed liver and mysterious gallbladder issues that baffled specialists. Eventually, Jennifer opted for exploratory surgery, which revealed a gallbladder that had turned entirely to stone. The surgery and subsequent anesthesia unexpectedly caused severe calcification in her heart valve, complicating her recovery further. To manage her post-operative pain, Jennifer chose cannabis edibles over traditional, addictive opioids, marking the beginning of her commitment to natural health solutions.

Motivated by her dire situation, Jennifer investigated the underlying causes of her health issues. Bioresonance scans exposed a latent Epstein-Barr virus and alarming growths within her organs. With a regimen of extended fasts and intensive detox therapies, she began the slow process of ridding her body of these harmful invaders.

Today, Jennifer is not only a survivor but a thriving entrepreneur. She runs Hawkeye Consulting and operates a nutrition clinic called The Well, where she dedicates her time to helping others reclaim their health after enduring chronic illnesses. Her story of resilience and refusal to accept a grim fate continues to inspire many, illustrating the profound strength of the human spirit and the potential of natural health solutions.

Welcome to Chip Talks Podcast, where we embark on a journey to unravel the intricate connections between stress, the endocannabinoid system, and dietary fats. In this episode, we synthesize insights from three enlightening discussions to shed light on the profound impact of omega-3 fatty acids on stress management and overall well-being.

Understanding Stress: A Primer on the Fight or Flight Response
Stress is an omnipresent force in our lives, triggering the innate fight or flight response ingrained within all mammals. When faced with perceived threats, our bodies release hormones such as cortisol, adrenaline, and norepinephrine to prepare us for action. However, chronic stress can lead to dysregulation of these systems, manifesting in a myriad of health issues.

The Endocannabinoid System: Master Regulator of Physiological Responses
Central to our discussion is the endocannabinoid system, a complex network of receptors and neurotransmitters that plays a pivotal role in modulating stress responses. While traditional teachings emphasize the role of dopamine and serotonin in stress management, these neurotransmitters are downstream effects of endocannabinoid signaling. By targeting the root cause of dysregulation, we gain deeper insights into the mechanisms underlying stress-related disorders.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Restoring Balance and Resilience
Enter omega-3 fatty acids, nature's antidote to stress-induced inflammation and hormonal imbalance. By rebalancing our omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acid ratio, we can mitigate the adverse effects of chronic stress and restore harmony to our physiological systems. Dr. Artemis Simopoulos's pioneering research laid the groundwork for understanding the importance of this ratio in promoting optimal health.

Breaking the Cycle: Practical Strategies for Stress Management
Incorporating omega-3-rich foods into our diet is a simple yet powerful strategy for combating stress and fostering resilience. From fatty fish to flaxseeds, these dietary interventions offer a holistic approach to well-being that transcends traditional pharmacological interventions. By prioritizing self-care and mindful eating, we can reclaim control over our health and vitality.

Conclusion:
As we navigate the complexities of modern life, let us not overlook the profound influence of dietary fats on our stress resilience and overall health. Through a deeper understanding of the endocannabinoid system and the therapeutic potential of omega-3 fatty acids, we can chart a course towards greater well-being and vitality. In a recent episode of Chip Talks, we had the privilege of hosting Roger Stone, a seasoned political operative, speaker, pundit, and New York Times Bestselling Author. With a remarkable 45-year career in American politics, Stone has been involved in over 700 campaigns for public office, earning the trust of Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Donald Trump.

During our insightful discussion, Stone shared his perspective on cannabis legalization and drug policy, offering valuable insights into the complexities of these issues. As a libertarian conservative, Stone has long supported the legalization of cannabis, advocating for individual freedom and personal choice.

One of the key topics we explored was the 1994 crime bill, a controversial piece of legislation authored by Joe Biden and signed by Bill Clinton. Stone criticized this bill for criminalizing the possession of small amounts of drugs for personal use, marking a significant shift in drug policy that disproportionately affected nonviolent offenders.

Throughout our conversation, Stone highlighted the evolution of the war on drugs, tracing its origins back to Richard Nixon's administration. Originally targeting drug dealers, traffickers, and kingpins, the war on drugs took a drastic turn with the enactment of punitive laws that criminalized drug possession on a broader scale.

As we delved deeper into the discussion, Stone emphasized the need for comprehensive drug policy reform, advocating for a more compassionate approach that prioritizes treatment and rehabilitation over incarceration. By addressing the root causes of substance abuse and addiction, Stone believes that society can create a more just and equitable system that benefits individuals and communities alike.

In addition to his political endeavors, Stone has curated the International Best & Worst Dressed List for the past 15 years, showcasing his diverse interests and expertise beyond the realm of politics. As the host of The StoneZONE on Rumble and The Roger Stone Show on WABC Radio, he continues to share his insights on political and corporate strategy, branding, marketing, messaging, and advertising with a wide
audience.

Overall, our conversation with Roger Stone shed light on the complex intersection of politics, policy, and personal freedom in the context of cannabis legalization and drug policy. His unique perspective and wealth of experience offer valuable insights into these critical issues, challenging us to rethink our approach to drug policy and advocate for meaningful reform.

In this insightful discussion, we delve into the intricate workings of the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and its profound influence on mood regulation and stress response. The ECS, a complex network of receptors and neurotransmitters, plays a pivotal role in maintaining emotional balance and physiological harmony within the body.

One of the primary functions of the ECS is to regulate the production of key neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine. These neurotransmitters are instrumental in generating feelings of well-being and happiness, as well as controlling various bodily functions. When stimulated by external factors like sunlight, the levels of serotonin and dopamine in the body rise, contributing to an overall sense of upliftment and positivity.

However, prolonged exposure to stressors can disrupt the delicate balance of the ECS, leading to abnormal levels of neurotransmitters and dysregulated mood responses. The fight or flight response, a natural survival mechanism triggered by perceived threats, can become heightened and prolonged in individuals with ECS dysregulation.

Fortunately, the ECS possesses inherent mechanisms to counteract the effects of stress and restore equilibrium. After threats pass, the ECS works to calm the fight or flight response, promoting a state of relaxation and calmness. However, optimal ECS function relies heavily on the consumption of specific dietary fats, such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, in the proper ratios.

Unfortunately, many individuals do not consume these essential fats in sufficient quantities, leading to ECS dysfunction and impaired mood regulation. As a result, it becomes challenging for the ECS to effectively modulate mood and stress responses, potentially predisposing individuals to mental health disorders and chronic stress-related conditions.

In conclusion, understanding the vital role of the endocannabinoid system in mood regulation and stress response is paramount for promoting overall well-being and mental health. By adopting lifestyle habits that support ECS function, such as consuming a balanced diet rich in essential fatty acids, individuals can empower themselves to effectively manage stress and maintain emotional resilience in the face of life's challenges.

New weight loss drugs based on semaglutide, marketed under names such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus, are showing both promise and concern. Semaglutide works by mimicking the action of an internal peptide called GLP-1. Scientists have modified the amino acid sequence of GLP-1 to create semaglutide. Our bodies naturally degrade GLP-1 with something called DPP-4. In semaglutide, the peptide is altered so that it cannot be broken down by the body's natural process of DPP-4. This is why semaglutide will stay active for 7 days in the bloodstream.

Our bodies normally go through a process of releasing and inhibiting GLP-1 throughout the day, roughly associated with eating and other body processes. Keeping the throttle down on GLP-1 actions with semaglutide all the time may cause unintended consequences, likely related to oxidative stress in the gastrointestinal tract.

  1. Physical Recovery: Rest is crucial for the body's physical recovery. During sleep, the body repairs and regenerates tissues, muscles, and bones. Without adequate rest, these essential processes are disrupted, leading to fatigue and decreased physical performance.

  2. Cognitive Function: Quality sleep is essential for cognitive functions such as memory consolidation, problem-solving, and creativity. Insufficient rest can impair these functions, making it challenging to concentrate and make sound decisions.

  3. Emotional Well-Being: Rest plays a vital role in emotional well-being. A lack of sleep can lead to increased stress, irritability, and mood swings. Adequate rest helps stabilize emotions, promoting better mental health.

  4. Immune System Support: Sleep is closely linked to a robust immune system. A well-rested body is better equipped to fend off illnesses and infections, while chronic sleep deprivation can weaken immunity, making you more susceptible to illnesses.

Strategies for Better Rest:

  1. Reduce Screen Time: Cutting down on personal devices with blue screens, such as smartphones and computers, before bedtime can improve sleep quality. The blue light emitted by screens can disrupt your circadian rhythm and make it harder to fall asleep.

  2. Manage Diet: Eliminating excess sugar from your diet can lead to more restful sleep. High sugar intake can cause blood sugar spikes and crashes, leading to nighttime awakenings.

  3. Intermittent Fasting: Intermittent fasting can help regulate your body's internal clock, making it easier to align with the natural day-night cycle. This can lead to improved sleep patterns.

  4. Sunlight Exposure: Spending time outdoors during daylight hours helps regulate your body's circadian rhythm. Exposure to natural light during the day can promote better sleep at night.

Enhancing Sleep with TrueMedX Rest Tablets:

For those seeking additional support in achieving better sleep, consider incorporating TrueMedX Rest Tablets into your routine. These tablets are formulated with all-natural herbs and CBD, known for their potential to promote relaxation and improve sleep quality. However, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before trying any new supplement to ensure it's safe and suitable for your individual needs.

In conclusion, rest is a fundamental pillar of good health, impacting both physical and mental well-being. By implementing strategies like reducing screen time, managing your diet, practicing intermittent fasting, and aligning with the natural day-night cycle, you can enhance your sleep quality. If needed, explore supplements like TrueMedX Rest Tablets, but always do so under the guidance of a healthcare provider. Prioritizing rest is a critical step toward achieving optimal health and vitality in today's demanding world.

The Importance of pH for Health: Unveiling the Key to Balance

Water and sunlight are often hailed as the fundamental keys to life, but there's another vital player that often goes unnoticed: pH. The term "pH" represents the potential of hydrogen and refers to the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. It may seem like a scientific concept, but understanding pH is crucial for our overall health and well-being. In this blog post, we'll explore why pH matters, its relationship with water and electricity, and how it influences the intricate chemical processes within our bodies.

pH and Biological Processes:
Water, the elixir of life, is intimately involved in countless chemical reactions that take place within our bodies. These reactions are finely tuned to function optimally within specific pH ranges. From digestion to enzyme activity and cellular processes, pH serves as a regulatory system that keeps everything in balance. For instance, the highly acidic environment of our stomach (pH 1-2) aids in food digestion and acts as a defense mechanism against harmful bacteria.

pH in the Human Body:
Different parts of our body have specific pH requirements. Blood, for example, maintains a slightly alkaline pH ranging from 7.35 to 7.45. This narrow pH range is crucial for enzyme function, oxygen transport, and overall metabolic processes. Our bodies have built-in buffering systems, such as the bicarbonate-carbonic acid system, which help maintain pH homeostasis and ensure the body functions optimally.

Measuring pH:
Measuring pH is an essential analytical technique used in various fields. pH meters and indicator papers are commonly employed tools. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with 7 representing neutrality. Solutions below 7 are acidic, with lower values indicating greater acidity, while values above 7 denote alkalinity, with higher values indicating greater alkalinity. The logarithmic nature of the scale means that each unit represents a tenfold difference in acidity or alkalinity.

Water, pH, and Electricity:
The pH of water affects its taste, solubility of minerals, and its ability to support aquatic life. Pure water has a neutral pH of 7, but natural water sources can have varying pH levels due to dissolved minerals and gases. Moreover, pH influences the electrical conductivity of solutions. Acidic and alkaline solutions exhibit different levels of conductivity, with acidic solutions typically being better conductors due to their higher concentration of hydrogen ions.

Striving for Balance:
Maintaining the appropriate pH levels in our bodies is essential for optimal health and the smooth operation of biological processes. When pH levels deviate from their optimal ranges, it can lead to various health issues and disruptions in bodily functions. Factors like diet, stress, medications, and certain medical conditions can influence pH balance. Understanding and managing pH can help us make informed choices to support our overall well-being.

Conclusion:
pH, often overlooked but profoundly influential, holds the key to maintaining balance within our bodies. From aiding digestion to supporting enzyme activity and metabolic processes, pH plays an intricate role in our overall health. By understanding pH and its relationship with water and electricity, we can make informed choices to support our bodies' natural equilibrium. So, let's embrace the significance of pH and strive for balance, unlocking the gateway to optimal health and well-being.

Salt, also known as sodium chloride, plays a crucial role in both diet and health. Here are some reasons why salt is important:

  1. Electrolyte Balance: Salt is a primary source of sodium, which is an essential electrolyte in the body. Sodium helps maintain the balance of fluids both inside and outside the body's cells. It supports proper nerve function, muscle contractions, and the maintenance of normal blood pressure.

  2. Fluid Balance: Sodium plays a significant role in regulating the body's fluid balance. It helps to retain water in the body and prevents excessive fluid loss, particularly during physical activity or in hot weather. Adequate sodium intake helps prevent dehydration and supports proper hydration.

  3. Nerve Function: Sodium is critical for nerve impulse transmission, allowing communication between nerve cells. It helps generate electrical signals in the body, enabling various bodily functions, including muscle contractions, heart rhythm, and cognitive processes.

  4. Blood Pressure Regulation: Sodium intake influences blood pressure levels. It works in conjunction with other minerals like potassium to regulate the fluid balance and maintain healthy blood pressure. However, excessive sodium intake can lead to fluid retention and high blood pressure in some individuals, especially those who are sodium-sensitive.

  5. Iodine Source: Iodized salt, which is salt fortified with iodine, helps prevent iodine deficiency disorders such as goiter. Iodine is essential for the production of thyroid hormones, which regulate metabolism and play a vital role in growth and development.

While salt is important for these functions, it is crucial to maintain a balanced intake. Excessive sodium consumption can be harmful and is associated with health issues such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and kidney problems. The recommended daily intake of salt varies depending on factors such as age, health status, and physical activity levels. It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for personalized dietary recommendations.

Sweet Sabotage: Why We Need to Avoid Sugar for Our Well-being
Sugar, the sweet culprit that tempts our taste buds and wreaks havoc on our health. From irresistible desserts to hidden additives in processed foods, sugar has become an integral part of our modern diet. However, as the detrimental effects of excessive sugar consumption become clearer, it is crucial that we recognize the importance of reducing our sugar intake for the sake of our overall well-being. In this blog post, we will delve into the reasons why we need to avoid sugar and make healthier choices.

  1. Weight Management and Obesity

One of the most apparent reasons to avoid sugar is its significant impact on weight management. Sugar is calorie-dense, devoid of nutrients, and lacks the ability to make us feel full. Regularly consuming sugary foods and beverages leads to weight gain and increases the risk of obesity. The excess weight not only affects our physical appearance but also puts us at higher risk for various health conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer.

  1. Energy Rollercoaster

While sugar may provide a quick burst of energy, it comes at a cost. Consuming high amounts of sugar can lead to a spike in blood sugar levels, followed by a rapid drop. This rollercoaster effect can result in feelings of fatigue, irritability, and difficulty concentrating. Opting for nutrient-dense foods that release energy slowly, such as whole grains and lean proteins, can provide a more sustainable and balanced source of energy.

  1. Dental Health

Sugar is notorious for its detrimental effects on dental health. When we consume sugary foods and beverages, the bacteria in our mouths feed on the sugar, producing acid that erodes tooth enamel and leads to cavities. Poor oral health not only affects our smile but can also contribute to larger health issues, such as gum disease and systemic infections.

  1. Inflammation and Chronic Diseases

An excessive sugar intake has been linked to chronic inflammation in the body. Inflammation is a natural response to injury or illness, but when it becomes chronic, it can contribute to the development of various diseases, including type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and certain types of cancer. By reducing sugar consumption, we can help mitigate inflammation and lower the risk of these chronic conditions.

  1. Mental Health

While the link between sugar and mental health is complex, studies have indicated a potential connection. High sugar intake has been associated with an increased risk of depression and mood disorders. Additionally, the energy crashes caused by sugar can contribute to feelings of anxiety and worsen symptoms in individuals with existing mental health conditions. Prioritizing a balanced diet, rich in whole foods, can support better mental well-being.

Conclusion

In a world where sugary treats and beverages are readily available and heavily marketed, it is essential to recognize the importance of avoiding excessive sugar consumption. By reducing our sugar intake, we can better manage our weight, stabilize energy levels, promote dental health, reduce inflammation, and support our mental well-being. Opting for whole, nutrient-dense foods and being mindful of added sugars in processed products can help us make healthier choices and pave the way for a healthier and happier life. Remember, the sweetest indulgence is a healthy body and mind.

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”
― Nikola Tesla

Bioresonance is the measurement of frequencies in the human body. By understanding what the healthy frequencies of tissues, organs, and systems are, Bioresoance can pulse the human body and determine if individual areas and systems are returning a healthy frequency or a diseased frequency. A bioresonance unit will scan the entire body and generate a report on what it senses and deems to be not in a healthy state. This information is provided in a report and the report needs to be analyzed by a specialist.

Bioresonance is not yet recognized by the medical community, however, that does not mean it is not a valuable tool. It has proved itself to be a good indicator of potential problems and it gives us a way to peer inside of you without having to stick you with a needle or put your through an MRI.

MicroRNA are intermediate signalling and functional molecules which get built inside of a cell. MicroRNA can "jump" normal DNA processes and make epigenetic changes on the fly. MicroRNA are associated with disease and with bacterial infections and could be a way for pathogens to alter and hijack metabolism.

Here is a supportive data:

"MicroRNAs are small, highly conserved non-coding RNA molecules involved in the regulation of gene expression. MicroRNAs are transcribed by RNA polymerases II and III, generating precursors that undergo a series of cleavage events to form mature microRNA."

Indigenous healers understood holistic practices of health. If someone was sick or ailing, the process to help them involved the entire community. There was no "one pill" solution to health. In order to get someone well, that person needed to be counseled about the ailment they were afflicted with. Then the medicine man would suggest herbs that need to be taken and behaviors that needed to be modified. In some cases this involved fasting or intermittent fasting. The medicine man would then enlist the help of the family and of the community to HELP the afflicted individual adhere to the treatment plan. Communities would get together frequently to pray and fast for healing in larger ceremonies. These ceremonies involved singing and dancing which are both known to stimulate the immune system.

We are heavily recommending intermittent fasting and in some cases full on fasting. While fasting can be extremely beneficial to our health and give our bodies some additional abilities to heal, it needs to be fully understood as to the impact on the body. "intentional" fasting should be done in conjunction with "intentional eating". There are some things to do in advance of trying to do a fast. We will discuss the issues and provide some guidance on how to do this in the most advantageous way for you and your body.

What are the most important functions of your body? Well, metabolism is one of them. Metabolism has to do with the process of "building" and "tearing down". Our bodies have master precursors we use to build other elements. Our bodies make these precursors during anabolism. Then we break down these precursors into needed and useful things during catabolism. We will discuss these important concepts and the "clock" your body uses to determine when to build and when to burn.

Thermography is uniquely designed to assess the functionality of all the major organs and systems in the body.

Thermography is reliable way to map and display temperature differences in the body. Inflammatory and hypothermic patterns will present themselves on the thermography scan. This allows us to see underlying issues in the body’s environment as a whole.

Without a healthy environment, the body cannot work as it was naturally intended. Thermography is one of the most accurate ways to detect problems in the vascular, muscular, neural, and skeletal systems.

We help you identify and address the root causes rather than just looking at one-off symptoms.

Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases can disrupt the way the brain processes. Both conditions may lead to memory loss, confusion, and problems thinking and managing day-to-day life. Together, these kinds of symptoms are known as dementia.

How can you tell the difference between Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease-related dementia?

Parkinson's usually begins with movement problems. Dementia happens at a later stage, at least a year after diagnosis. When you have Alzheimer's, on the other hand, the disease starts with memory loss and confusion.

Please tune in Friday the 16th to listen and learn from Chip.

If you know someone with one of these conditions please reach out, we can help!

No one will like this blog much, but I would encourage you to: read it; and understand it.

We all have to eat don’t we?  How much do we really understand about “eating”?

First…what do we need to eat?  Like, what do we HAVE TO HAVE?  It turns out not much, unless you listen to the USDA and follow the old food pyramids.  Nope, won’t even comment on those.  We will be positive and forward looking!

There are certainly supplements, strategies, and diets that can help.  Please contact us if you are needing additional information.

In this podcast your will learn about:

-cells

-prokaryotic

-eukaryotic

-archaea

-YOU and all life are a collection of these

-How do they produce energy and “metabolize”?

-podcast one and mitochondrial efficiency…3 states of function…

-plant in the dark mode = mitochondrial fueled by glucose

-plant in the light mode = mitochondria fueled by dietary fats and ketones

-light mode (alluded to but not yet) = we will discuss down the road = outside overton

-fed mode

-every cell in our bodies will function on glucose…it is the lowest common denominator

-once again, the importance of fats..it is all about the fats

-on eating we process and store fats we do not BURN them

-AMPK is inhibited during fed

-our cells will run on what is available in fed sans fats and that is glucose with our current diet

-we shape and re-model triglycerides

-cancer REQUIRES this mode at the cellular level

-macro and micro = anaerobic vs aerobic

-anabolic = you make cholesterol and store fats

-“plant in the dark” mode

-“sugar” energy does NOT last long

-“sugar” energy is poor fuel

-fasting mode

-the cellular switch that gets flipped is called AMPK

-happens roughly 5 hours after eating/drinking a coke/energy drink

-AMPK forward kills cancer

-AMPK forward enhances the immune system

-AMPK forward heals ALOT of diseases

-AMPK forward allow the body to kill foreign invaders better

-we BURN fats in this mode and are thereby 50x more efficient

-we use cholesterol = breakdown cholesterol to build testosterone and estrogen

-catabolic = cholesterol and fats are broken down to form chemical mediators and energy

-Holly the bear

-Intermittent Fasting

-Starvation

-Autophagy
