In this episode of Common Sense Investing Canada I make my introductions.
- What are my expectations for the podcast:
- To discuss the Canadian economy and the broader global economy from a Canadian perspective.
- To discuss the TSX, the Canadian stock market including reviewing company's and their share price to find hidden gems
- Why I am podcasting:
- To provide Canadian news and perspective on the economy and stock market, providing Canadians an alternative to 99% american content.
- To help create financial literacy, because there are a lot of scams, paid promotions, and affiliate driven content out there that are misleading Canadian investors.
- My plan moving forward with the podcast:
- To increase the amount of Canadians discussing the economy and investing.
- To increase financial literacy in Canadians, allowing more people to take control of their own financial future.
- To have fun. I want to dispel the idea that the economy and investing, are boring and complicated. Our parents generation did not openly discuss money, politics, or religion and I want to keep that from happening to the next generation. Which leads me to my last point,
- Educate by example. I want to continue my journey of financial literacy so I can continue to teach my children, giving them opportunities to be more prosperous as they mature into adults.
I am going to have a lot of fun making this podcast, I hope you enjoy!

I am not a financial advisor, I am taking control of my finances through self-directed investing. I support everyone following sound financial fundamentals including having emergency savings, insurance, and the majority of principal savings in global market index funds or ETFs before you try direct investing.
I also believe that direct investing a portion of your money to have fun makes you
