Growing up as a proud Somali-American Muslim woman, Lul Mohamud was born and raised to immigrant parents in Washington, DC. Both her background and cultural Identity have informed her work supporting survivors of domestic violence in the African Immigrant and Refugee community as the Executive Director of The Person Center.
