In episode 2, Tina is joined by Monica Peters to share her experiences with using the ACT Matrix to sort out behavior assessments and behavior plans, plus the surprising ways that the ACT Matrix has transformed her personal life.

Monica Peters has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2014 and has worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism since 2007. She completed her master’s degree in applied disabilities studies at Brock University in Ontario and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Concordia University in Quebec. Originally from Montreal, Monica is currently residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia working at the Nova Scotia Health Authority in the community outreach program (COAST) with adults who have dual diagnosis (intellectual disability plus mental health diagnoses). She has worked with clients throughout the lifespan (ages 4 and up) but has taken a special interest in working with adults. Her primary focus area and interest is in mediator coaching, specifically using a process called the ACT Matrix.
