In this deeply personal solo episode of The Fixate & Binge Podcast, I take a moment to reflect on the life and legacy of Chuck Norris following his passing at age 86.
I share my firsthand experience working with Chuck on the 1993 film SIDEKICKS, where I spent six days on set as a featured extra—interacting with him, observing his professionalism, and witnessing the humility and kindness that defined him behind the scenes.
I also talk about a lesser-known chapter of my journey—auditioning for the pilot of WALKER, TEXAS RANGER, and how that opportunity ultimately slipped away before filming began.
In the second half of the episode, I shift gears to break down the 2026 Academy Awards—owning up to what I predicted correctly, what I completely missed, and what surprised me most from this year’s ceremony.
I also briefly weigh in on READY OR NOT 2: HERE I COME and whether the sequel lives up to the bite of the original.
A tribute, a reflection, and a reality check—all in one episode.
