Christine Malek was married to an abusive husband who had beaten her many times. On several occasions, Christine Malek felt she was either going to commit suicide or homicide due to the abuse she was experiencing from her former husband; she had reached her thither and was willing to leave this life. Christine came to the point when her husband pulled the gun trigger and pointed it at her head. She begged him to kill her. Christine's husband pulled the trigger and shot her in the head, but she did not die. No woman should ever get to the point in their marriage where they become so fed up with life that they must ask their husband to kill them to escape the pain and suffering they are experiencing. Christine was ready to die; as far as Christine was concerned, there was no point in being alive. Nonetheless, God had a more excellent plan for Christine's life. As you listen to her story, you will notice Christine gained strength, and the light within began to shine brightly to pursue her mission of helping women who experienced abuse to develop a better and healthier mindset.
