Western society has the assumption that the majority of people are extroverted. On top of that, because extroversion is so prominent in Western society, it is often seen as the "right" way of behaving and doing things. As we know by now, that's not at all the case yet it is a persistent assumption that has build up over time and is hard to shake. Especially because we seem to want to enforce this assumption, this belief that extroversion is the desired way of being.
In today's episode we dive deeper into this assumption and how it can impact those who are more introverted.
