The decision making process can be difficult. One example I wanted to discuss was whether you have perseverance in chasing a goal or decide to cut your losses. This is important for your personal growth and your personal journey development. Shifting behavior can be a part of personal development which helps you on things such as my mental health journey. Opening up can prove to be a motivational example in which I share healthy habits that changed my life. I hope to give yet another philosophical mental exercise in which I go over the differences between people such as goals, values, and risk aversion. Depending on these, you can use introspection and outcome analysis in order to determine whether you should abandon or goal or continue pressing on. You need to weigh out what will happen in either outcome and then decide which would be best for you to pick, depending upon what you learned during your introspection. I used this process for my beard, which I discuss in this episode. I used to struggle to grow facial hair and finally did it. Then I realized it wasn’t for me so I cut my losses - quite literally. It’s okay to want something and then change your mind.
