It may sound blasphemous, but I am trying on the idea that we can do God's work independently. Peter and the other apostles were charged with going forth to do as they had seen Jesus do, and He promised them that they would do even more than He did.  He left them physically, and they remained here, independent of Him.  There is a time to be completely dependent, and there is a time to grow up and make choices on our own that are the same choices Jesus would make.  When we lift ourselves to a higher place above the earth, we tap into our power of godliness.  His work can continue as if He were here, not because He is speaking through us...because we are a representative who has accepted to call to be as Him.  To find out more go to https://wylenebenson.com
