Elle Lowery Ft Saskhia Menendez

I was born to two deaf parents and come from a mixed heritage and disadvantaged background. My school noticed I had a great singing voice and sent me to voice trials at Christ Church Cathedral School, where i won a bursary and this started my musical career. I performed three times a week, practiced daily and had a private education around music and performance. I toured the world, sung for the queen, appeared on TV and sold albums across the world as well as played with other top choirs worldwide. I can read, write, and compose music of all genres. I sing, play some Piano and Flute.

I completed music education from GCSE (B), BA in Events Music and Media Management (2:1) and MA in International Music Marketing (Distinction). I have previously managed. Three acts: Stevie Jay, Jada Pearl & Teressa Edwards and helped manage and develop acts, build community, and gain exposure. All acts where unsigned where I secured all acts to both labels and publishers and helped my artists produce 3 albums 9 singles and 7 music videos. I secured interviews, collaborations, and event placements. I also helped in terms of creative direction, time management and budgeting. Whilst at University I was a runner for Viva La Visa and worked for clients including WetLeg, Dua Lipa, Elton John and Ed Sheeran, I helped process passports and other sensitive documents as well as work with all levels of industry personnel.

I am a proud parent of two children 17 & 21 and transitioned from Male to Female 12 years ago and have gone through the full surgical process, and hormone treatment. I am also a social activist for trans rights and equality issues and am an equality and diversity ambassador for underrepresented and disadvantaged communities across the UK. My aims and motivations are to help diversify the music industry landscape, as well as help improve representation, access, as well as help educate and inform others of the barriers certain groups face.
