I often compare my gifts to others. Don't look at me sideways, tell me you've never wish you could do something like someone else?
What I've learned is I have everything I need in me to master my assignment and I don't need what others have because we are all a small piece to a big puzzle. I look forward to becoming the best version of me.
On this episode, I had the opportunity to catch up with a friend and someone I call my brother, Al Thomas. Al is a licensed counselor and he is helping others become the best version of themselves. Choosing the right therapist isn't always easy nor is knowing when to say farewell. I openly shared my fears of saying goodbye to weekly sessions because I"m afraid. To be honest, it's become a safe space for me to heal without judgement and to know that I"m not alone. I know that I've been equipped with everything that I need to move forward and that I could always come back if needed, but there is just something about letting go. Have you ever felt that way? Letting go isn't always easy, but it is necessary.  I don't want to give you all the deets, so press play and listen as we talk about it. We have so much to share.
