We had the wonderful pleasure to have  in the fantastic creative Mel Ree! She is an Actor by trade but because of who she is deep down she is a messenger and a poet.  Born in Papua New Guinea to the daughter of a chief, her ancestors sit at the base of her spine spurring her on to tell her story, hoping to spark wildfires within listeners that burn down differences, uniting us in our pain and understanding of this human condition.  We speak to her about her upbringing and her healing process from the inter generational trauma that was passed down.  Mel opens her motivational manifesto 'Mother May We', at the Griffin Theatre Company on the 27th September 2022.
