The newspaper carried an interesting story of a drug addict and gang member with a history of violent crime whose life was turned around by Jesus. Now he works as a drug and alcohol counsellor. The story is unusual because the media does not typically promote such stories. Yet it is not unusual because Jesus has been turning around people’s lives for 20000 years. He makes us new people, enables us to start again, or, as Jesus put it, to be ‘born again’.  Phil explains.
