There is a crisis in new home building. In order to stimulate the economy following the pandemic, governments offered grants to home buyers. Thousands signed up, but there were insufficient tradesmen to meet the need. Materials have also been in short supply. The media has told the stories of individuals who have waited three years or more for their home to be completed, experiencing hardship not of their making. But there are others who contracted to buy homes at a time of the lowest interest rates on record, then complained of hardship the moment interest rates began to rise. That showed a lack of careful planning. Jesus spoke about houses on a couple of occasions. Phil shares the stories.
