Easter is a time to understand the Christian faith. It’s not based on a set of rules or tests, but a story, the story of a loving God who accepts us as we are, and wants a relationship with each of us. He invites us to accept the invitation, and when we do, he fills our life with good things. We also become part of God’s church, as valued a member as anyone else on earth. Some people haven’t experienced the church as a loving and supportive group of followers, fitting together perfectly and  seeking to bring out the best in one another. Yet that’s what the church is.
