A lot of lessons were learned on this past weekend road trip.  But mostly, you HAVE TO have the correct destination plugged into your GPS, and you have to trust yourself and your faculties that you will get there safe, and imagine how incredible it will be, and lastly, you HAVE TO WANT TO enjoy the ride.  This is the journey of life, my friend.
