Mary Coughlan is a brilliant Irish  vocalist and one you need to completely give over on a very comfortable leather sofa in front of a log fire with a nice bottle of wine. She comes from the fantastic blues/jazz with influences as billie Holliday, Edith Piaf, Peggy Lee.

She wrote this song back in the 1980’s and talks hypocrisy of the state, church and people.
