On 1st April 1922, five members of the Gruber family along with their live in maid were bludgeoned to death in a remote German farmstead. The murders are considered as one of the most gruesome and puzzling unsolved crimes in German history. Over the years lots of suspects and theories have emerged. However, the case remains unsolved. It has been 100 years but the murders still haunt and intrigue true crime enthusiasts and mystery buffs.
