If you’re an introvert and/or highly sensitive person and also a facilitator, trainer, or educator who works with groups, you may find yourself completely drained at the end of a day of delivering workshops and talking to people.

How do you manage your energy reserves so you can bring your best when you’re at work?
Here’s what I’ve learned:

  • You are differently wired and there is nothing wrong with you for feeling drained.
  • Prepare before the event by doing the internal work.
  • Prioritize downtime after the event.
  • Take time to integrate, acknowledge, and process what happened and what you learned.
  • Release the need to control, judge, criticize, and make up stories.
  • Release the charge and emotion that accumulates after a long day of being with people.
  • Notice how you respond in the moment to uncertainty and the unplanned.

Here’s how I can support you further:

  • Schedule a virtual coffee chat on LinkedIn
  • Meet fellow introverts for outings in Melbourne: Quiet Women Circle (women-only) and Introverts Around the World
  • Find fellow introverts on facebook: Global Introvert Network
  • Get introvert-empowering tips on instagram: @serenalow_quietwarriorcoach
