In this week's episode, we will be joined by Chronic Pelvic Pain Specialist and founder of the Chronic Pelvic Pain Center of Northern Virginia, Dr. Melissa Delgado. Dr. Delgado has spent the past 10 years dedicating her time to understanding complex and persistent pelvic pain. She specializes in treating endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, and their co-occurring chronic conditions. She is an expert in minimally invasive, excisional robot-assisted surgery. After seeing the benefits of integrative medicine, Dr. Delgado also became certified to practice acupuncture in 2007. Dr. Delgado earned her medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College before completing her OB/GYN residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Virginia, where she served as Chief Resident.
