So, do you think you know what rejection feels like? Imagine being rejected by the people you are trying your best to protect and push forward. Someone who is very familiar with that feeling, but nonetheless is driven to see radical change for the better for his people is Bayard Rustin. A key catalyst to the Civil Rights Movement, yet a name not mentioned as much as say Rosa Parks, or Malcolm X.  A shining example of what it means to be selfless and driven.
