I am a total analytics geek, so I thought that it would be helpful for you to hear my geeky tips to help you use your analytics to boost your social media content! In this episode we are going to talk briefly about what analytics to look at and what they are.

Which pieces of data should you look at? For this episode and keeping with my goal of keeping this super simple for you, I want you to look at:

  • Follower Growth - this is the number of followers you gain and lose
  • Engagement Rate - how they are engaging with your content
  • Day/Time - when your audience is online
  • Reach and Impressions - this is the number of accounts that are being shown your content
  • Top-performing Posts - self explanatory
  • Audience Demographics - who is being served your content - men, women, age groups, geographically
  • Link Clicks - when you add a link in stories you can see the analytics associated with the clicks
  • Stories - back, exit, and forward - when a user goes back to look, exits stories, or skips ahead to the next story

Tune in for the next few days to learn more about how to analyze these metrics to help you grow on Instagram.
