Drinking With The Saints

Mike and Alexandra talk about what the Immaculate Conception is, what it is not, and why it was defined in 1854 of all times. Also discussed: Why St. Joachim must have been a great kisser.

They enjoy one of their favorite cocktails: the White Lady, and talk about its variations.

Drink: White Lady

1 egg white

2 tsp. Powdered sugar

1 oz. gin

1 oz. vodka

1 oz. Cointreau

1 tbsp. Fresh lemon juice

Lemon bitters

Beat egg whites and powdered sugar until the mixture forms soft peaks. Pour the egg mixture and all other liquid ingredients except lemon bitters into a large shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass and top with lemon bitters.
