Giving your book a title is one of the most challenging tasks for a writer. Kriti Gomber decided on it long before her book took its form. After thinking more about it, she realized the title questions the image people hold of authors, "Authors have this image of being addicted to something. A lot of people call them crazy, call them mad, and it's a weird spectrum." But for her, authors are more than that. Of Words and Whiskey, as the name promises, explores an author's mind through thirty-five poems. In this episode, we get a peek into Kriti's journey. Tune in to learn about turning your hobby into your profession, the writing process of poetry, editing drafts, and publishing your first book as a young poet.
