Jamil Jivani was the host of a nightly radio program on Bell Media from September 8, 2020 until he was let go at the start of this year. Jivani says he was fired due to "a mix of retaliation and cowardice" after he refused to conform to the company's standards around diversity and inclusion, despite being their first full-time Black host. Jivani joins John to explain his departure, and why he says "even black men can be fired for not being 'woke' enough."
