Sarah Stimson joins us for a Day One segment.

Day One focusses on what ignites people to make health a priority. Their inspiration, challenges, and setbacks.

We invite Sarah, a personal trainer and NCCP weightlifting coach (in training), to talk about how her approach to fitness has changed since becoming a first-time mom. For Sarah, it turns out there were a couple of Day Ones during the sometimes unpredictable nature of pregnancy. She talks about:

  • shifting her perspective on fitness
  • changing energy levels during and after pregnancy
  • working around perfectionist tendencies
  • the role of post-partum pelvic floor therapy
  • determining when its time to rest and when its time to move
