As we grow up, we keep changing as time goes and we're forced to change our view of things. When you're a child you say that you want to be a doctor but as the years pass, and you start discovering the diversity in the world, you realize that being a doctor might not be for you. Similarly, we find out that there are different ways to achieve things in life as we progress and life teaches us more about ourselves every day. It will only make sense if we keep on altering our ideas when it comes to certain topics and molding them to fit the current version of ourselves, it can be very difficult and scary to change something that's been working for us for a long time and going for something completely different, but the only way you can be a better version of yourself is by changing things the things that don’t serve you anymore.
For me, it was about letting go of the idea of 'academic success is the only way to succeed' that I developed over the years, and trying to find a new way that serves me now. What is yours?
