Standing in the middle of 5th Avenue

Lying. Pointing his military at you;

But a million marchers are storming the bridge,

80 million voters overtaking the ridge.

He’s made America grate:

Tooled by free-associated hate;

Ground-down steel; ungreased wheel;

A liberty made to ingratiate.

America’s princess—she flinches; she winces.

Crucifix-Rump; “a stable Jesus”

Or at least (an) Apostle Peter: “Commander-in-Tweeter

A Rushmore immortal; tower-o-immoral;

A wall-on-the-border; vanishing mail sorter

Haloed by a blow-dried meringue pie.

His skin: over-white—so much so—

It’s flirting ‘round the edges of pink;

So pink, as to impinge on the fringes of orange.

Let me hear ya say orange. Say orange!
