Screens weren't that prominent in human's lives not that long ago yet today it would be difficult to mention something that doesn't involve one. Probably most of the daily tasks in our lives involves a screen of some sort and that dependency and consumption is what we discuss in today's episode. Starting with a global view of who's the worst (most) and best (least) consumers of screens to narrowing it down to the African continent and then South Africa, we dissect the different devices and how mobile has widened the gap over desktop. What is being consumed is a topic that is just as important because it gives us an idea of where people's attention is. Not forgetting the negative effects of too much screen time on children and adults, we take a look at what could become of screens in the next 5-10 years. Metaverse anyone? I hope this episode is of value to you.

Until next week, take care!
