What does it truly mean to love unconditionally? As humans can we really love without conditions? From a spiritual perspective this is a partially yes and no answer. We may say, we love our child unconditionally, yet when we truly reflect on it, we love them because they’re our own child and not someone else’s. So it’s conditional. Unconditional love is impersonal love, love that goes beyond family, race, tribe or personal association. In this meditation let’s ponder how far we can stretch our love beyond ourselves and to what degree we can say it’s truly unconditional.
