Our local historical society’s exhibit this year features collections that its residents have amassed over the years. I have a collection of antique brass instruments there which I have been collecting since I was a teenager. I do have a purpose in mind; to have enough for a band to play music from the late 1800s. If our purpose creates positivity for others, that would be a great way to collect.
