Blackmagic has recently launched an update to its free Blackmagic Camera app, version 1.4. This update introduces support for “off-speed video clips” and expands cloud support for organizations and teams. It also includes a new widescreen overlay and addresses issues related to audio input and incorrect aspect ratio when using the de-squeeze option. The highlight of the Camera 1.4 update is the support for recording off-speed video clips. The app can now capture time-lapse or slow-motion footage and display it accordingly. For example, when shooting at 48 fps and replaying at 24 fps, the clip will display in slow motion
