Canon has announced a firmware update that addresses timecode inaccuracies in the Canon C80 and Canon R5C cameras. This update not only resolves the current issue but also incorporates several improvements from previous updates for users who may have skipped them. The main feature of versions 1.0.2.1 and 1.1.0.1 is enhanced timecode accuracy when the cameras are powered off. Additionally, the setting is now configured to to better support this enhancement.
