Bertrand Russell says: “Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless. We want to know: Why am I here? What am I supposed to do? What do I want to be? Does any of this have any meaning? Does any of this really matter? We are part of a culture that is told each and every one of us has to look inside and try to figure out why we are here? What is our purpose? Christianity says the opposite: We will never find our purpose by looking inside of us. We were made for something that I far bigger and greater than just out personal happiness and fulfillment. We were made by God and for God and until we live for him then life will never have the meaning that God intends for us.
