It had been months since the adultery and murder, David was convinced that no one knew and seemed to think the he had gotten away with it. But, God was at work behind the scenes. David’s sin was done secretly and willingly, but God was aware of all of it. Both God and we are fully aware of what we have done. God, in his love and mercy often sends someone our way who loves us enough to tell us the truth that we need to hear. David received the truth that Nathan brought and repented-receiving God’s forgiveness. The big question for us: Will we do the same in our lives?
