Seeing Purple - Politics through the eyes of Jesus

We’re heading into a very intense election season. Politics isn’t an emotionally neutral topic. It has the power to divide us instead of bring us together. Politics can so color the way we see the world that we’re left wondering if someone could hold political beliefs different from our own and still follow Jesus. How would our outlooks change if we filtered our politics through our faith rather than filtering our faith through our politics?

Believers or Followers?

Christians are well known for being people of faith and believing the truths of the Bible, but Jesus does not call us to just believe, He calls us to follow Him. When we follow Jesus we will look very different than the rest of the world.
