The point of warfare is to kill and win, but means to that end must be carefully considered. Man’s bloodlust is seldom suppressed when he realizes he possesses some new advantage over his enemy. Warfare has been a history of advantages gained by technological innovations, and often those advantages involve being able to hide oneself from the enemy.
Tim and Andrew discuss some of those technological advantages across history, particularly our latest—drones. The moral calculations in warfare are always complex.
And as we consider these things, please, can we remember to pray for those who make decisions for us about international relations and war?
