To start this session, you can write down some questions that you have for your pet.

Maybe you want to ask how they enjoyed living with you. Did they like where they slept ? Did they enjoy the walks ? Did they love playing with you ?

You can ask anything you would like to know about how they experienced your life together.

You can meet your friend again by greeting them, saying “hello” and tell them that you have brought some questions along.

Just ask the first question and listen for an answer.

The answer may be a word or a sentence, it can also be a picture or a feeling, a song, or a scene.

There are many ways your pet may wish to talk with you. They can make use of your knowledge, your field of expertise, or make reference to a song you love or a film. Your pet knows you inside out and will look for the best way to communicate the answers to you.

Just be open and listen and receive.

If you wish, you can write down the answers right away, so as not to forget them later.

If there is something you don’t understand, you can ask them back.

“Can you clarify that for me, please ? “

“What do you mean by this ?”

“Can you tell me this in a different way so I can understand what you mean ?”

And so, the conversation begins and before you know it, you are in a deeper state of focus and connection and have the most interesting exchanges with your pet.

Some answers may be surprising to you.

When you come back, you can take some notes.
