As the final piece of the Rebel Samurai boxset, Criterion delivers us a parody of the films we’ve just watched and a few other classics. Kihachi Okamoto’s Kill! sends up Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, and Sanjuro, Okamoto’s own Sword of Doom, and others while still having time to put a man in a dress. Donovan H. closes out the boxset with us, but have no fear, we’ll see him again soon.
