Today I had an eye opening discussion with experienced referee and mentor Chris Wade.
We discuss the difficulties and struggles for new people to become referees and then what is required to keep them enjoying it for many years to come. We also spoke about abuse from parents on the touch line and emotional support avenues which referees can seek help from.
