These are the things to consider before showing up to any match.

  • what's the fee?
  • who pays?
  • how many subs can be listed?
  • how many subs can be used?
  • is it rolling subs?
  • how many officials can be listed?

  • what size of ball is used?

  • how far in advance should you be given teamlines?
  • what is the duration?
  • if colours clash, who changes?

  • if it's an SWFL or NAP game, where do I process it?

  • if it's a cup match and is drawn, what happens?

  • can trialists be played, and, if so, how many??

  • what happens if an outfield player, substitute or goalkeeper is injured after teamlines have been exchanged?
  • do I have to record goal scorers and times?
