Homily given on the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C) at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Clarendon, VA on Sunday, October 13, 2019 (9:00 am Children's Mass).

Mass Readings were as follows:

  • 2 Kings 5:14-17 -- Naaman healed of leprosy by plunging into the Jordan river
  • Psalm 98 -- "The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power."
  • 2 Timothy 2:8-13 -- "If we have died with him we shall also live with him; if we persevere we shall also reign with him."
  • Luke 17:11-19 -- "Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!" (healing of ten lepers)
